In January and February 2026, we urged the city to take a stand against ICE. One of our organizers spoke during public comment twice, and several book club members wrote to their councilors.
On February 9, 2026, the city posted on their Facebook page, providing images of newly signed documents about immigration and the city's values. We've converted the city's original images to PDFs and provided them here:
(Signed by the Mayor, City Council President, and School Committee President. City Council President Julie Flowers later posted on Facebook that all City Councilors and all School Commitee Members have also signed on.)
